Our Services

What services does ALTA Garden Care provide? We provide a complete range of residential lawn and garden maintenance services including lawn mowing, edging, hedge trimming, garden pruning, weeding, mulching, fertilising, garden clean-ups, and seasonal planting. If it relates to lawn or garden maintenance, we can help.

Are there any services you don't provide? We don't provide ride-on lawn mowing, landscaping or hardscaping (such as retaining walls, paving, or decking), or arborist services such as large tree removal or height work. If you're unsure whether we can help with a specific task, just get in touch and we'll let you know.

Do you provide one-off services or regular maintenance? Both. We offer one-off garden clean-ups and seasonal visits as well as regular scheduled maintenance — weekly, fortnightly, or monthly depending on what suits your garden and your lifestyle.

Can you take care of everything or do I need to organise multiple contractors? For all lawn and garden maintenance needs ALTA Garden Care is your one stop solution. The only exceptions are large tree work requiring a qualified arborist, and any landscaping or construction work — for those we're happy to point you in the right direction.

Pricing & Quotes

How much does garden maintenance cost? Every garden is different so we provide personalised quotes based on the size of your property, the condition of the garden, and the services required. Our minimum price for a regular lawn mowing visit is $70. Get in touch for a free, no-obligation quote.

How do I get a quote? Simply fill in the enquiry form on our website, or give us a call on 0484 359 499. We'll arrange a time to come out and assess your property and provide a clear, honest quote with no surprises.

Are there any hidden costs? No. We quote clearly upfront and stick to that price. If anything changes during a visit that affects the cost, we'll always discuss it with you before proceeding.

Bookings & Scheduling

How do I book a service? Get in touch via our website enquiry form or call us on 0484 359 499. We'll organise a free quote and get you scheduled in at a time that suits you.

Do I need to be home during the visit? No — you don't need to be home. We just ask that gates are accessible so we can get to all areas of your garden. If you have a dog, please ensure the area is clear before we arrive. We'll let you know when we're done.

What do I need to provide? Nothing at all. We bring all our own equipment and supplies. You don't need to provide any tools, products, or materials.

How far in advance do I need to book? This varies depending on the time of year. Spring and summer are our busiest periods so we recommend booking ahead during those months. Get in touch and we'll let you know our current availability.

Weather & Cancellations

Do you work in the rain? We don't mow lawns in wet conditions — mowing a wet lawn damages the grass and produces a poor result that isn't fair to you or your garden. Some garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, pruning, and mulching can be carried out in light rain. Anything that can't be safely or effectively completed in the conditions will be rescheduled.

What happens if my visit needs to be rescheduled due to weather? We'll contact you as early as possible to let you know and arrange the next available suitable time. We always aim to minimise disruption and keep you informed every step of the way.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule? Just get in touch as soon as you know and we'll sort it out. We ask for as much notice as possible so we can offer the time to another client, but we understand that things come up.
